I got a Netflix account. It’s changed my life, not because they mail DVDs to me so much as the way they allow me to watch movies instantly, streaming by way of the Internet. Tonight it’s Manhattan Murder Mystery.

I voted today. I used the paper ballot, and then was led to a machine that collected my ballot. I fed the sheet of paper with my pen marks on it into a slot at the top of the machine. It was, disconcertingly, just like a paper shredder.
