People have asked me what the aforementioned “very good news” was that I drank milk to the other day. I’ve only told one person; I tried to tell someone else, but there were too many people around. I try to keep quiet about good news; it makes some people angry. At least that’s been my experience. Or it just sounds disappointing and insufficient when I say it aloud. I mean, the news isn’t that good.
None of this seems to come up, when I tell people about my newest kitchen furniture.
