I have started this blog as part of a recreational effort to delineate exactly the extent of the damage done to our society and children by the video game Mortal Kombat, which was popular in my youth. The game depicts two people at a time, fighting each other and bleeding, unless Blood Mode has been turned off. I cannot help but think of the game every time I impale someone with a spear, and I just know its effects must be more lasting than that. This country’s at war, and all anyone can talk about is the primaries, and we’ve completely lost sight of the real problems with our society, one of which is Mortal Kombat.
